The Univer-Soul Language Vol. I
A collection of poetry released in 2005 at the peak of that big "Spoken Word" movement. There was an accompanying cd and everything. I'm on it twice. Publisher said we'd been nominated for an NAACP Image Award. Essence magazine gave it a great review. Several reviews pointed out my poetry alone. Ahhh...those were the days. Oh well, can't even find the thing anymore. |

Coon Tails
Published despite protests in 2006, often mistakenly linked to the Imus controversy, Black Panther Party, and Nation of Islam. A collection of political short stories designed for both child and adult. People weren't ready. Publisher said there was nothing he could do and no one who wanted it. I changed the title and added a few pictures. Seemed to do the trick. Go figure. | |
